Fact-Checking Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Accuracy is non-negotiable at StackForge. This policy describes how we verify what we publish.
Our standard
Every factual claim, statistic, command, and code example is checked before publication. When a claim depends on a source, we link to it so you can verify it yourself.
Sourcing
- We prioritize primary sources: official documentation, specifications, and standards.
- We cite reputable secondary sources when primary sources are unavailable.
- We avoid presenting opinion as fact and clearly label analysis and recommendations.
Verifying technical content
Code samples and step-by-step instructions are tested or validated against current versions of the relevant tools wherever practical. We note version-specific behavior when it matters.
Keeping content current
Technology moves fast. We review and update our most important guides on a regular schedule and whenever a significant change occurs. Each article shows its last updated date.
Corrections
If you find an inaccuracy, please tell us. We investigate every report, and when we confirm an error we correct it promptly. Significant corrections are noted transparently. Report issues through our contact page or email [email protected].
Accountability
A named human editor is responsible for the accuracy of each article. You can learn about our editorial process in our Editorial Policy.
